The University of Wisconsin Book Store serves a wide and scattered audience, including Badger students, alumni and fans throughout the U.S. To serve its customers better, the book store decided to re-launch its web site and make the leap into email marketing for the first time.

Solution

Whereas the book store usually received 10-20 web orders over a typical weekend, after sending its first email on Friday, 50 new orders came pouring in.
