Duane Crandall

Founder/CEO

Duane provides 20 years of sales, technology and leadership experience as Founder and CEO of Knowledge Marketing.  He overseas Knowledge Marketing’s rapidly expanding business by combining his strong innovation capital to drive the company’s strategic vision and demonstrating a solid track record of growth in the software environment. Duane’s serial entrepreneurial spirit has successfully led Knowledge Marketing from concept to one of the leading online/email marketing companies focused on servicing retailers, publishers and nonprofits.

Prior to founding Knowledge Marketing in 2004, Duane’s professional past experience has included the launch of  several internet companies: Tecknowledge Management, GeoTeck Systems, Good Donor as well as the first internet kiosk provider, Public Internet. His specialties include raising venture capital, thought leader for the online community, strategic development, and ensuring business and financial goals are met. Duane has received dual degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.

Joe Benson

President, Publishing Services

Joe is the President of the Publishing Services division within Knowledge Marketing where he focuses on sales and marketing to consumer and trade publishers. He also has management responsibility over a team of audience development professionals providing services to the current KMPS portfolio. He has over fourteen years of experience working for three different service bureau companies at various levels in each organization.

During his career he has also worked as a Client Development Manager for Provell, a membership services company. His client portfolio at Provell included companies such as Victoria’s Secret Direct, Wells Fargo Credit Card Services and Swiss Colony. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Marketing and Small Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Superior Campus.

Linda Crandall

VP Marketing, Client Relations

Linda has over 13 years of integrated “hands-on” marketing experience that includes both online and traditional offline marketing channels. Although she thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, her experience has been in both large corporations and small startups.  At Knowledge Marketing she’s responsible for increasing and optimizing the lifetime value of customers by utilizing KM’s ECN marketing tools , targeted email marketing campaigns, social media and networking for acquisition and retention.  She is responsible for retaining and growing clients through exceptional services and products.

Her specialties include strategic marketing planning, relationship marketing, client experience, product marketing, digital marketing, public relations management, and brand building. She’s received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration-Marketing at the University of Minnesota Duluth and has received certifications from St Thomas MBA leadership development program.
